How the daily puzzle works
The board is selected from an independently created puzzle set and transformed by date. Everyone receives the same colored regions and solution on the same UTC day. Your progress stays in this browser only, and no account is needed.
Before you place the first cat
Scan the smallest colored regions, then look for rows or columns that have only one legal square left. Add X marks to impossible cells. A clean set of marks makes the final placements feel forced instead of guessed.
